okay..

i buyed AF, went to the EA site, entered my code, downloaded in EA Downloader, installes from EA downloader, now i can choose the option "play AF" from the EA downloader.

bf2 starts, login blahbla multiplayerblabla and i see maps like Op Harvest and so on.

everything fine to this point.


but whe i try to connect to an AF server, the following message pops up:

"u need to bye the Booster Pack Armored Fury to play on this Server."

             Buy            close


repatched bf2 but it wont work


help please

It has to do with your BF2 ID and your Gamespy ID not being the same.  It happened a lot with Euro Forces.

If you search for it in Euro Forces Posts you will find the solution of how to change your Gamespy ID to match your BF2 ID minus the prefix.

so maybe login into it and make sure that you've spelled the nick correctly? dunno. good luck!

If you just open your EA Downloader and go to edit account name when you have AF selected, it will be beneath the "play now" button and change it to the exact in game name you use on bf2.

infact i incountered this problem as well when i wanted to play on my other account. you can only play on the account that you entered when you bought the game. so basically if your cd key gets banned forever (if you were hacking for example) you will have to re-buy all the expansion packs again along with a new bf2 cd key.
