I guest Nev has nothing to back up his "crap....more crap" bullshit against me... Heres the deal dude, You think you know everything about our foreign policy, why dont you enlighten the rest of us to it. Since you are from America and all and you obviously know it all....oh wait youre not! So you haven't a clue what our policy is? Oh ok, what kills me is how people want to bust America's balls every which way they turn but they forget to look at aspects in their lives that are related to Americans, exports, so on so forth. For example, and im not talking about anyone here, if they are, they know who they are, I was in a pub in England, a young man was standing adjacent to me, and was completely bashing America, I mean "America sucks this, America is full of that", so I took a closer look. He was smoking Malboro cigarrettes, wearing Levis Jeans, a red Tommy Hilfiger shirt with an American flag on it no less, and Nike Basketball shoes. I asked him for a light for my smoke, I had my own lighter, I was just curious, he pulled out a zippo with Old Glory on it, saying "Land of the Free". So I didnt say a word and left. Just this example and how little some of these "Anti-American" Sons of bitches think. Fuck you and the hole you crawled from.

We had guns, therefore we delared the land empty. That way we didn't have to fight a war for it. Peace through superior firepower, no?
Oh, and Arthur Phillip bought the land around Port Jackson... Just because the Aboriginals didn't understand the concept of buying and selling stuff.... Ignorance isn't an excuse now so why should it have been then?

U got the order wrong matey boy.... Family first, family second, family third. Putting a fictitious being ahead of your family is precisely why this world is so fucked up. Every major war in recorded history has been about religion, either directly or indirectly.G3|Genius wrote:

When the British colonised New Zealand in the early 1800s they fucked over the native^1 Maori people. Coming into an island nation with a lot of inter-tribal warfare meant that it was the military option for some tribes, and the diplomatic option for others, but the Maori were basically tricked into selling most of their land to the British.
In the years since, and particularly in the last 30 years or so, genuine efforts at reconciliation^2 have been attempted by the New Zealand government. Compared to many similar efforts overseas they have been a spectacular success, though of course there is still a lot of work to be done.
It has, for the most part, been a peaceful process.
Edit: I'm white, BTW
^1 Okay not really native, but they'd been there a few hundred years prior.
^2 Primarily through apologies, and compensation by way of money/asset transfer.

I do rant about the Brits in particular from time to time. Most of the threads never lead to situations where the acts of these empires are brought up anyway.
I think it odd that you be praising the newest wave of imperialism - the US conquest of the middle east - when you yourself are from a continent whose progress has been held back for possibly centuries at the hands of colonialism. M8 you talking to the wrong person hear , having spent 9 years in the British army doing 2 tours of northern Ireland losing friends seeing people getting killed in the UK by the IRA i think the British people know plenty about how terrorism feels, we had to put up with bombs in tne UK for 30 years by terrorist who were funded by some people in the USA and helped by some people and company's in the USA just like the USA helped the tali ban and that one came around and bite you in the ass, same as us we helped them, the USA and the UK gave guns and money to the tali ban trained there leaders so in the end we are partly to blame don't you think.G3|Genius wrote:

Living in the shadow of the World Trade Center (40 miles away), I knew close to half a dozen people who perished when those hateful people flew our planes into our buildings. When they fell, I could see without the Television the smoke in the sky from the window of my dorm room at Seton Hall University.
My classmates cried. My professors cried. My parents cried. I cried, too. You cannot understand how genuinely scary that day was.
People say "we will never forget 9/11." Some have, and some have not. I have not forgotten. You who have not lost thousands of people in one day because of these terrorists do not have the same perspective that many of us americans have. I understand that you do not understand. But why be so intolerant? You did not lose loved ones. You stand on the outside, criticizing.
Say a prayer. Don't just ejaculate hate as you do now, because it upsets people who care.

Guerrilla warfare is the only way to wage war when the enemy is superiour in number or in terms of weaponry. They were just following the only path they could in keeping up the fight against occupation.

Ireland fighting for their freedom, don't make me laugh! The other day you were saying the reason there are more Irish people in the rest of the World than there is in Ireland was because they were pushed out by us, so if that's not running away, I don't know what is. A friend and I were talking about this on Saturday and he made a really good point, a lot of Irish people bash the English but are perfectly happy coming over here, living here and tarmacking our drives aren't there? We have a large Irish community where I live and they all go on about how great Ireland is but can't give me an answer to why they live in England if it's sooo bloody good over there.

2) Spreading IRA propaganda? I have been highly critical of some IRA tactics and all other information supplied by me is factual. I'm not making up what the Brits did, nor do I deny what certain elements of the IRA did.
3) So let me get this, apparently 'pikey kids throwing rocks' prompts the death of 13 innocent civilians. A little bit of a harsh retaliation on the part of the Brits methinks.
4) I'm not criticising British people - I've been there loads of times. My Dad happens to be from London. My Mum was born in Glasgow. I don't get your point with the Irish in England bit. Emigration from Ireland is becoming non-existent since we became the best performing economy in Europe. That doesn'tmean there'll be a few leftovers from previous waves of emigration to the UK. Not to mention the fact that we're all part of the EU now. Just because there are loads of French, Spanish, Poles, BRITS and Italians living and working here in Ireland now doesn't mean their countries are shit, which is what I assume your trying to imply. What's your point?
5) Freedom of expression is great - I can wear a Brazil top, an Ireland top, a French top, whatever. That is a pretty childish comment by you. Do you ONLY wear England tops or do you wear your England top ALL THE TIME or something? The Brazil top is a nice top.
6) I am bashing the British GOVERNMENT and not the british PEOPLE. People from the north of England are great craic, very friendly.

I've never heard CameronPoe mention Bloody Sunday. Regardless, a few kids throwing rocks is hardly grounds for (elite SAS, no?) troops opening fire on civilians. Could be easily argued that it's state terrorism.
