Your right considering that the Xbox has been out for a five years now.  I hope that the PS3 can beat the Xbox.

I think that Sony has gotten a huge head since the PS3.  They have the type of mindset that Nintendo had in the early 90s.  That no other gaming company can touch them.  You could tell this from their E3 press conference.  This will be their down fall.  I think they delayed the release of the PS3 to add the motion sensor like the Wii has.  I also think that if you purchuse the PS3, be prepared to be raped by Sony.  If HD-DVD becomes the public choice for HD movies your are screwed.  Either way, I am not buying a 360 or PS3 until at least a year.  That why it is cheaper, and have a good line of games to choose from.  That is when you really see what the console can really do.  Remember that the PS2 has yet to give us the power that Sony stated it had at the 1999/2000 press conference.  Personally, Wii FTW, just because Zelda is the best game series ever.

yeah i was thinking of getting this childrens console too, NOT! seriously as cool as its features are it is just a party machine, metroid prime is good but apart from that the only fun games are party games and they get boring quickly.
