I mean its only armored fury. Join game button = crash. Lagg like crazy ping = 200 on every server i found with armored fury maps. Game crashes random and i need to restart my pc cause my pc froze. I hate this game the only fun thing is the little bird

Yes, I really like the new maps but always crashing in the middle of a game sucks as well. Either getting high pings or crashing to desktop, both before it starts or in the middle of a game on my end as well. Hope EA fixes this problem soon.
Same here; Join and crash ingame annd crash. I did read that re-installing 1.3 might help.
I must be the only person to never have problems with bf2, SF, EF,or AF. not one of my friends ever complain about problems.
Hardly ever crashes on me... More than before but still not often. Once every five times I play it will, I guess.

Have never had a problem before AF and BF, SF, and Ef still work fine.
Happens to me sometimes...map load then boot to desktop or play for 5-10 sec and pc freezes up have to do a whole new start sucks but i like the new stuff
This is more like a 1.3 issue rather then AF. I have noticed that instead of clicking Join Game, I press ESC and do not crash to desktop. Try that to see if that solves you CTD issue.
I like the new stuff too, like the little choppers and the new maps are great.

Yeah, but I noticed the CTD's started up with the patch, now with AF, I get lockups, server crashes, etc way more than the original maps. I just hope they release a patch soon to fix all that or AF won't be getting much play. Too bad, though, I thought it has kickass maps, vehicles, even planes (damn you pilots).dubbs wrote:

If 20% failure rate has become acceptable, we're all f'ed. Then again, if that's what we're being fed by the gaming industry, I guess we don't really have much recourse do we? I mean, they've already got our money, and as has been discussed elsewhere - how many of us who complain about the bugs in THIS product will go right out and buy the next one?

Its not jsut armoured fury ... its 1.3 mate
All the regular maps load and play fine, it's just the AF maps that CTD on my PC.Viper38 wrote:

My Ping is after getting much higher on servers i always played on after i installed 1.3 GOD DAMN
I can play on most servers with a average ping of 40 in af im getting 120-140 on every server and i turned my graphics all on low and still a high ping i usually play all on high except aa (off) and its all good but eh i just won't play af

The problem i have with AF is that single player now crashes, Multi player works fine and single worked fine before the installation of AF.
I heard that if you totally uninstall BF2 and never think about it again it helps.
