Someone should explain to Horsey that the Rep. in front of this guys name doesn't mean he's a Republican so therefore there is no reason for him to defend his totally inexcusable behaviour.
LOL, I'm not sure anyone could mistake a Kennedy for a Republican. But I do find Horseman's statements odd if he had read the whole article. I think it pretty clearly points toward illegal activity. Who takes a sleeping pill before they go for a drive??? Police thought he was clearly intoxicated. I have to call B.S. on this just being mixed medications, he entered into treatment. Why would you do this if it was a freak, I mixed my meds on accident and flipped out type of an incedent????
I think the important lesson in all of this is that he should at least let the Hooker drive him home.
I didn't read the whole article I just caught a snippet on the news, but it was clear they wanted a circus atmosphere from the out set. Like I said a lot of people hate Kennedy's. I hate Ted but hate should have no part in the legal process.
as for " Unoriganal anything or Thought "
Its not his fault he is not familiar with our system and it is impossible to his mind to comprehend the fact that most Americans hold with the Innocent until proven guilty whether its O.J. or US Marines.
He is just a total hypocrite and its typically of his behavior. As a self professed Conservative I am better at practicing all the very things he claims to be. Is it really a surprise? He just tipped his hand again, thats all.
Do you have trouble understanding that 'Innocent until proven guilty' is part of the Universal Declaration of Human rights and is a fundamental backbone of modern democracy? Or did you think that it was only applied in America, not in the UK where I live?
If someone
pleads guilty then they have
admitted the crime. That's right, they have
admitted to inexcusable behaviour. That is the case here. He admitted a lesser crime to avoid being tried for the other charges, as he knew the evidence and testimony was stacked against him. "Late for a vote" that occurred 6 hours earlier less than a kilometre away, indeed. "You have the right to remain silent. If you give up that right, anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law." Someone should have kept their mouth shut, methinks.
Sounds like you are more unfamiliar with the system than me, HorseManBearPig.
