Yea, I live near Lancaster and I have to admit that they did a REALY good job with the scenery. Well, we always knew EA/DICE were good at making great maps. Too bad they cant make a great game.
Ever driven through farm country anywhere else? It all freaking looks the same anyway.
Not exatly, we have alot of Pennsylvania Dutch around here that dont belive in any moterized things and also you can still see carriges pulling people around to the local stores on a sunday morning. Places around here are kinda stuck in the 1800s. If you can name another place in this country like that Im amazed.

Yea, It is somewhere down south but they did a hell of a bad job making that map look like anything. And Valdez dosent look like it at all either. Oh well. Gameplay>Realism

I had to ask.  I just think it's cool that there is finally a game that takes place on american soil.  It's only the 2nd one I've seen.  The other game that takes place in America is your average WWII game(Pearl Harbor).  Ok, answer the question, or tell me if I'm wrong, that there HAS been another game besides AF/WWII games that take place directly in America.
I live in Chester County, the next county over from Lancaster.  Not too far away.  They got it pretty accurate.  There are farms and fields everywhere around here.

I must say I really enjoy having to dodge the cell towers when im flying around.  That DEFINETLY makes it realistic.

yeah it doesnt take too many of those or running into those street lights on the highway and youll learn not to do it again. my worst one was banking 180 in the bomber and running smack into the water tower with no time to pull out.

Harvest looks identical to Amish country here in Ohio. I drive by horse and buggies all the time. Strange playing on a map that looks identical to where you live.

Freedom Fighters was based on New York, GTA III. VC, and SA were all modelled after reallife cities.

i live in State College, Pa and my gf grew up in Lancaster, it doesn't look much like Lancaster, there is some amish buggies, and farms, but everyone in Lancaster County doesn't own a tractor trailer.

There are also a lot of shitty strip malls and stupid stores and "Amish World" type places...
