England - think this is Englands strongest squad for a lot of years, as long as no one gets injured, and with rooney given the all clear I think we have a good chance.
At the end of the day so long as there is good football, no trouble (England fans) it will be a good world cup may the best team win.

Brazil has the best squad, followed by England i think.  US will do much better than people think.  That being said, I won't be surprised if a team like Germany or the Czech Republic go deep into the knockout rounds.  Germany is playing right now I think, I am TiVo'ing all games, so don't tell!

I put other, simply because USA wasn't on the list.

In all seriousness, Brazil probably has the best chance, followed by Germany (always a good team and now they got the home field advantage)

I don't know why you English always get your hopes up.  You haven't won since before most of you were born and now you have way too high expectations on your team.  True your squad is good, but it seems to me like your side will win the WC when tim henman wins Wimbledon and paula radcliffe wins an Olympic marathon.  I mean no offense, just pointing out you are a bit unlucky historically and are just asking to get hurt with expectations that high.  Easiest prediction ever: heartbreak (for England).  But good luck anyway, I'd rather see you guys take it than most teams.

Try last year's Ashes when we won against the odss and for the first time in many years.  Also, check who are the Rugby World champions, which we also won relatively recently along with the 2012 Olympics, England have a serious chance......
