The thing that sucks is, I bet those F-16 pilots aren't gonna see much of that bounty.
Another first, what a great day !Bubbalo wrote:

What do you expect a person living in a hole for a couple of weeks?
Finally! The rest of my day is good knowing that fucktard is dead.
May he be chased by swines through hell forever.
I saw your posts here today. And given the recent events (read: Zarqawi), I think you have every reason to be a member of Al Queda.Bubbalo wrote:

Not very nice to be the butt of an accusation is it? Don't accuse the troops of lieing when you have no evidence you POS.

I don't have a history of participating in terrorist activities, the US military does have a history of lieing.M1-Lightning wrote:

Well, I don't have any evidence that they aren't either. As such I will reserve my judgement on the veracity of claims that he has been killed.M1-Lightning wrote:

That fucker was into sawing peoples heads off as they screamed.xXSarnathXx wrote:
still tho, a shame people are actually celebrating another humans death
He was not a human being imoa.
That's not a very good argument. All humans have a history of lieing. If you're going to use that as a basis for trust, then you can't trust anyone.Bubbalo wrote:

Yeah, you know what, you're right. Last week, my next door neighbour killed a couple of hundred Vietnamese, then pretended it didn't happen. After that, he supported a whole heap of genocidal dictatorships, whilst talking about being the leader of the free world. And then he invaded a nation based on obviously false intelligence, before lieing about killing it's civilians. I mean, can you imagine how upset I was!M1-Lightning wrote:

this feels so good

No it isn't. If they had a load to blow, they would have been blowing it regardless of Zarquawis death. Do you think the terrorists hold back so they can respond in case something big happens? No, they may try to cobble something together quickly to look like they are responding in a big way, but they have a history of getting dead when they do that. When we see nothing from them for a long time, that means they are taking their time and planning something properly. That is more frightening than when they react quickly; the latter is when they screw up and make me happy.CameronPoe wrote:
Brace yourselves for the aftermath of vengeance from the insurgency!!! It is gonna be MASSIVE!
Spoken like a blind pacifist. We are talking about a man dedicated to acheiving his ends through the death of others. There are many ways in which this man could pursue his goals, but he deliberately chose to do it through violence and bloodshed. And not just of Americans. He has killed far more Iraqis, and deliberately targeted Shiites. In the end, his death will save the lives of many. This is a very bad man, and the world is a far better place without him.TheDarkRaven wrote:
It is silly to call it a hppy day. He is still a person and we are celebrating a destruction of a branch of humanity's progression.
Even the US military isn't stupid enough to say they killed someone they didn't and take the chance of him showing up later. Nope, this guy is dead.Bubbalo wrote:

Edit:
CNN wrote:
A Web site used by Al Qaeda in Iraq confirmed al-Zarqawi's death and urged its followers to continue the insurgent fight.

What a great way to start off a day!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, if Zarqawi is dead...nothing is really going to change. He was a sideline man for the Insurgents/Al Qaeda. They didn't approve of the way he was handling things, so he was much less of a leader and more of just a guy performing atrocities in their name.
As I said before in a previous thread, going after Al Qaeda by "hunting them down" like Bush is trying to do is futile. It's a Hydra effect...if you kill the #3 or #2 man, another one will step right in to take his place. Kill the #1 man, and everyone will just shift the ranks around to compensate.

wow there are so many retarded people out here. today is the happiest day of the year. if anyone is defending this sorry dead peice of shit, they are showing us that they have no concept of the real world
This much is correct. He had already been replaced as the leader of Al Queda in Iraq.Marconius wrote:

This part, I have to disagree with. If what you say is true, then what should we do? Stop fighting them? I think not. Even if it is a neverending task, then we should undertake it on a continuous basis. The alternative is to roll over for them, and I hope this Country's resolve never falls that low.Marconius wrote:

On the other hand, you could be wrong. It may come to pass that the Al Queda framework (loose as it is) comes apart entirely because the jihadis get the message that anyone who takes on a leadership role is marked for death. Sure, there are those who will not be deterred by this, but there are many more who will. The average radical Muslim, contrary to popular belief, is not in a hurry to die.
Either way, as I said, declining to oppose these people is not a viable option.
A sad day? fuck you, Horseman. We're glad that he's gone. but we're not "celebrating it" by having parties and whatnot. You have the logic of a 4 year old.Horseman 77 wrote:
Sad day for Liberal Dems and others who hate America. His own sister says he had it coming. Maybe its all a hoax by Bush and Chenny? Alex Jones please check in !
Yes, I'm glad he's gone. but the facts are, calling this a terrorist defeat hardly matters. Someone else will come take his place, and things will be the exact same, maybe even worse, for the future.
Now the righties are using this for some more pro-war bill
No one is defending this guy. All people, no matter how much horrible shit they do, are still human. To deny that is being just as bad as them.

Have you even seen the movie? You're pathetic. Did I even say once that I learned "all about terrorist cell systems" by watching a movie?Horseman 77 wrote:

Laughable. Killing one fat cunt who has to run from safehouse to safehouse will do nothing in a war against improvised cell-based guerrilla warfare. At least now the US press will return their focus to the forgotten man - Osama.
Wow, it seems hardly anyone on these forums has ever watched The Siege
Rent it, it's cool and gave me knowledge of how the terrorist system works.. even though it's fictional.
The Siege- starring Denzel Washington. Basic plot - Terrorism in NYC leads to military takeover of the city.
Make room for one more on the short Bus to School.
Ok " watch a Hollywood movie and learn all about the Terrorist Cell systems "
I am going to save this one. Its a keeper !
You're a joke, Horseman. Everytime you try to comeback at me, you say that I said stuff which I didn't say. In trial, your ass would be owned.
