I couldn't even if I wanted to. I've lived overseas being a military brat practically all my life and it's conditioned as 'illegal' to take blood out of me, plus I've been tested for TB, my body's got it under control now but still.
Im diabetic and will once im 18 every month, needles obviously don't scare me , hopefully im allowed to though having diabetes and all

To the actual question: i'm not 18 yet, so i cant. I'm also a bit freaked because the people who take the blood at university are vets (the ones that operate animals - not the ones with only 1 leg).

I give blood a couple of times a year, it only takes a while and its a great cause as your probably are saving lives.
I was still pissed though when they stopped giving out the free booze after you donated! You used to get a few pints of Guinness but now its only a half pint. I dont do it for the drink (I'm not an alco, stop looking at me!) but it felt great after you gave blood!

I used to give Blood, But my Blood is not wanted anymore since I travel to Remote places to much.
It's also a way to test for HIV without going down to the clinic. You can give blood and not worry about what people are thinking about you while sitting in the waiting room!
Fuck no! We're inundated with the stuff in the UK. The problem is the rare blood types and mine's quite common so I'm not needed.
if your ever broke, give out plasma. you could make a couple hundrded bucks a month doing that
