the A10 gun, while it is severely nerfed, does not overheat.

the littlbird is pretty tight

no more karkand armor whores? ok, maybe not, but still.

the a10 and its MEC/China variants handle much easier than in the USI mod, allowing us to concentrate more on the killing and less on the living (although i do miss those missiles)

haven't played ranked yet, but in theory because its a turbine engine rather than a jet engine it should be harder for AA to track it.

its created an excuse for me to ditch my X3d Pro for something cooler like an x52

road rage has that cool freeway ramp in the center which is gonna be great for the battleracer mod

midnight sun seems pretty familar, no? (fushee pass)

no fighters. ever.

I just got it installed this morning. Flew the little bird for 3 minutes before I realized I had a job, and I should probably get to work. Teh little bird is teh shiznit.

That seems like a good idea. Gives it a way to compensate for the low damage.

I took down a little bird with a few shots from engie shotgun... they're like flying buggies, agile but fragile.
The planes make a droning, UFO-ish sound, scary. Weird flight characteristics.
Lots of opportinities for long-range tank duels.
The highway map looks very life-like.

What gets me is the attention to detail...all the little easter eggs, the ambient sounds and effects (wolf howls, lightning), and even fireflies. You appreciate little shit like that when you're sneaking through the woods or dodging tanks in the hay fields.

The littlebird and other recon choppers are the shit It's soo easy to take down the AH-1Z and other attack helis with it.

It's like a flying jeep

AA is still a bitch tho and tracks the A-10 just fine. I wish they removed AA missiles all together and replaced them with AA guns that could actually do a decent job. I'd rather be killed by a more skilled foe instead of someone whos just sitting pointing at big green box's

those choppers are nice when you're capping a base with a lone guy holding out. the commander can place a UAV elsewhere, like the next CP we're going to take. i still laugh when i see people clip their chopper on a light post, although people are getting a little better with them.

I love it, it tears apart infantry almost as good as the blackhawk minigun, and is very effective against other choppers. My $10 bucks is worth it right there for these little beasts and I havent even tried the A10 yet.

AA in fact is the devil. The A10 does sound great, and realistic. ( not that I drive one to work, just sounds like you would expect) I think Harvest should have some planes though. I mean, it is out in the middle of damn no where, and we get 2 choppers to a team. Oh well, AF is still worth the money, and alot better than EF.

Played it tonight. Road Rage is great - bags of fun. the A-10 does sound realistic ( I was a ground pounder, but you never forget the sound of the Warthog firing as it roars over your head ), but doesn't have the Armour that the real on has, although it has the speed as if it did!

AA can take them down really easy; easier than any other aircraft as it has no afterburner and is slow to begin with, putting you in the AA target window for longer.

Best bit so far? Road kills in the big Semi Truck! Now that is fun!

Search for TV2 - they are located in Norway and got one server for each AF map and one for all AF maps. Just played there recently and took my first AF Gold Medal on Operation Harvest.

just type operation road rage in for map name and tell it to line up by players. the best ones will show at the top. rinse, repeat with harvest and sun.

QFT!!! I love all the recon helos.

Harvest and Roadrage are the shit.

I've only had problems in one server getting a helo or plane

Though one server i was standing by the recon helo and got killed for standing there cuz it spawned and the guy wanted it. I wasnt even looking at my screen cuz i had just spawned.
