I think it's kilobits per second, but you're absolutely right on your other statement.
There is no such thing as KPS. At least not associated with connection speeds.

Okay, right.

Now that I thought about it...
for some reason download speeds are usually expressed in kilobytes per second
while connection bandwidth is usually expressed in kilobits (megabits) per second.

Or am I wrong about that? If not, does anyone know why this is?

Yeah, and 1 kilometer = 0.621 miles. So?

I was just wondering why people use "different" scales for expressing download speed and connection bandwidth.

Why not just use kilobits for both? Or kilobytes?

The total process took a little over an hour for me.  That was with a 3meg. pipe and two other users sucking bandwidth from me.  LOL.

actually in refrence to current date broadband with common sense you should know its kilobyte

furthermore kps means kilobit and Kps KBps is kilobyte

seems your math is fucked up there. firstly 150 x 8 = 1200 secondly kilobyte is 8 kilobits so if windows showed kilobits *which it doesnt* 150 kilobits would be 18.75

and finally it was a harmless question ..no need to be a prick. that and you seem to be the clueless one.

side note your sig has bad grammar as well its you're fucked ...and with a .68 k/d i'm not too worried about being in your sights
