Mine froze up while joining a server that was in the middle of a map change. I had to reboot and then I was fine. Patience, patients...

i am just waiting for the people to come in and start telling you that you're only complaining because you're a newbie and to "shut up" because they're able to play it just fine and are totally satisfied at whatever EA and Dice asks them to pay for. that ashley guy might even come in and tell you to be grateful because the programmers are so talented and it takes a lot of work for them to produce games and your donation goes a long way.
