BF2S Forums How do you guys like Armored Fury?

I haven't tried it yet, just bought it and going to install it when i get out of work

It's so much fun! The little helicopters are so cool till you get shot down by AA vehicles and such but it's sooo much fun!

I got to wait for Friday when I see my dad and pay AF with his credit card(I don't have one...sadly).

why cant EA let us have af worldwide all at the same time.

The A10 is a huge let down. ESPECIALLY the cannon.

Becauase I"m lazy and don't want to have to explain it again I'm just going to post my IRC convo on it. For the record I thought that the new booster pack is very good and an excellent feel. I liked it and think once everyone gives it a chance it will do well. We just need some servers with full population in them.

[02:26] kilroy0097_bf2ing: Also I got into many dogfights against the attack chopper with the little bird. The miniguns really tear them to shreds.
[02:26] kilroy0097_bf2ing: A good pilot in a recon chopper can dogfight an attack chopper very well.
[02:27] kilroy0097_bf2ing: But if the attack chopper has a good gunner the recon chopper is still toast. At least there is a chance.

[02:27] kilroy0097_bf2ing: I like them quite a bit.
[02:27] kilroy0097_bf2ing: I was flying circles around areas spraying it with MG fire.
[02:28] kilroy0097_bf2ing: It's nimble enough to take out infantry on the ground with a good pilot and that gun.

Absolutely Ugaminor. I agree that infantry will be vital to keeping flag points defended. Armor is nice in the major action between capture points and defending but there are still enough nooks and crannys to hide infantry. Especially in the PLA Midnight Alaskan map and also the Operation Harvest map. All in all I enjoyed it like I said and look forward to seeing it in action wtih a full 32 or even 64 players on a map. I hope it takes off.

Let me add also when thinking about it that the pop up tactical strategy used in real life for Attack choppers can very much be used on these maps. On the Alaska map I did just that quite a few times. Drop down below objects and treelines when AA lock comes up and then maneuver into strike position and let my gunner fire off a TV after I pop up. Very nice.

I friggin' hate Operation Roadrage, that map pisses me off for the fact everyone's hanging out at the bases waiting to get one of the damn recon choppers or the bombers rather than helping out catching flags since the essential key to success in that map ARE THE FLAGS! That damn leafclover intersection is a bitch to take if the enemy's smart.

I've already lost a couple of rounds that way, with bad teammates and SMART enemies, UGH!

uhm missing something , isnt it called ARMOURED fury>,,so wheres the armour apart from a tank now and then , i was expecting massive tank battles...

Litlebirds are cool though

Im going to download AF when i get home from work. From what i hear it's only fun for jet noobs but ill give it a shot. if it's bad, well atleast it's only 10 bucks.

i heard that it is much more better than euro forces...
