My all time favorite is blood sugar - just so funky
but the later stuff - by the way + californiacation although more commercial (the lads are getting old now) is a lot more melodic

Mother's Milk ... their best by a long way. I love their funk stuff so thats why I love it ...

Edit: I'm a bass player too ... the first bass solo my teacher ever played me was the from 'Stone Cold Bush' ... I've been in love with Flea ever since

I like Freaky Style too. That bass riff on 'Yertle the Turtle' is fantastic

Not too keen on their new album .. couple of gems in there but apart from that ...
