Why does everyone make fun of him in TV shows. And why does he provide the voices?

EG:

Fairly Odd Parents
Scooby Doo
Family Guy
Futurama
Jimmy Neutron?

Usually they refer to him as Mayor West, and in Fairly Oddparents they go as far as making him Catman (he was the originaly cheesy POW WAM BAM Batman).

When your that big of a failure you come to terms and would rather have people laughing with you than at you. Plus, washed up comic series stars have to make money some how now don't they?

He has a good sense of humor though. Why else would he voice himself in Fairly Odd Parents?

I think it's just that he has a very good sense of humour. I mean, have you ever seen him as batman???

Adam West's Batman is probably one of the most laid back superheroes I've ever seen. He wasn't far short of being a hippie.

I have no problem with what he's doing now, and clearly neither does he or he wouldn't voice the characters that people are doing of him. Personally, I love Mayor West in Family Guy. He still thinks he's Batman
