God damned Texans...
You obviously don't have any friends from the US, specifically Texas. You are blinded by some other beliefs about Texas. My opinion and comment came entirely from being a motivated US Marine, not being a proud Texan. Neither of which you are. What comment, if any, could you have left here in this post, if it were not the fact that I put where I live in my personal info? You couldn't have said anything about me or Texas.   I would gladly drink a pint of Guinness in your beautiful country, so why not, in the future, keep your personal racist remarks to yourself. You just make yourself look less intelligent, also being a bigot.
@ PBAsydney - I'd just like to point out that your Texan remark was a stereotypical remark about people here.  I find it in poor taste.  Perhaps you've been to Texas?  Or met all the Texans?  I've only met 2 people from Iceland, and they were both swingers.  Should I catagorize you in this group based on what knowledge I have (very, very, limited)?  Should I add a derogatory remark as a prefix to really drive it home?

A quick thanks to Teflon for saying what needed to be stated.

I think also, they were shooting on grund hogs... but how sick you must be, to show the accuracy of a firearm while shooting animals in the wilderness just for fun??? You can't even use the fur nor something else of them, after shooting them with such a caliber.

I agree with Drunken_Tankdriver, that these aren't birds. I have seen a crow hitten by a .17 Remington High Speed Bullet and all I was seeing was black feathers, where the crow was sittin' before. BTW, the guy I saw shootin' these crows, was loosing his hunting licence the same day...

The first time I went hunting with my Dad we were after rabits. He brought a friend of his along who supplied the guns. I got the .22 and he got a gun which at the time the Israelis were using as military Sniper-rifles. We both got a bunny each but there wasn't much left of my Dad's one.

your adjusting the sights on the rifle and the scope, or youd rather he shoot at civilians instead.  when your in a war zone there is no time for setting up paper targets.

That's true, but who is saying, that they are on enemy territory? These mountains could be everywhere. Further, there are existing much better ways to adjust a scope. Best way was and is always an unmoving target. Finally, when a sniper have the opportunity to take a few shots with a .50 BMG for adjusting, then he will be sure, that there are no enemys in range. You can hear this shots over miles and he could also stand up with a big sign in his hand: "I'm here!"
