how encouraging that the technical experts who would presume to run the universe on our behalf have such atrocious taste and so little sense of what is good and desirable.

How remarkable that self-proclaimed experts have no perspective whatsoever.

nobody lacks perspective on what MIDI does or its importance to the history of electronic music.

people know about popcorn - it has been MIDI sequenced, sampled, ripped and adapted into about a thousand dance songs.

you don't seem to understand how art forms evolve and develop, and how inspiration works through generations.

'mike oldfield did this on tubular bells', 'this sounds like a moog from the 1960s' ... yes, well done. those albums still exist.

MIDI is still used a tool in every producer's studio in the world. it's an integral part of connecting gear together and making music on a computer today. but listening to MIDI tunes is like listening to the sibelius software's MIDI parping instead of ... recordings of sibelius, the composer. it's fucking borderline insane, lol. have fun listening to your tech demos and "10 dorra, good time" karaoke tunes though.
