I would rather get the TV and stick with PS3 games. A giant T.V. is how you show women who come over that you are a worthy mate. Just like deer with antlers.

We have a samsung tv at work that defaults to playing heartland or something when it glitches out from playing some powerpoint slides. it does that instead of go to a home screen

I bought a woman a 42 inch LG 4K T.V. at Walmart. Only $360. Strolled out of that Walmart like a king.

My harem of 4's as Uzique said. The Indonesian lady got a T.V., the Moroccan got a necklace from Swarovski yesterday, and my girlfriend got charms from Pandora. I need to buy the Indonesian some jewelry too.


If you give them a lot of gifts and are really nice and considerate, they will ignore the fact that you don't talk to them for hours and hours at a time. "Whats App said you logged in at 9 AM. Where were you?" "You don't want to spend the rest of the day with me?" [I need to get home to check in with the others.] Etc.

And this is exactly as exhausting as it sounds.

Bought myself an RTX 4070 with all the birthday cash I got.  It’s nice to finally be able to play modern games at 1440p max settings again and still get way higher performance than I was getting.  My RTX 2070 was such a disappointment, easily the worst nVidia card I’ve ever bought.  The benchmarks were showing literally double the average frame rate between the 2070 and 4070 at 1440p in most games so it seemed like the right time to upgrade.  nVidia’s RT hardware is also far enough along now that turning it on doesn’t murder your performance anymore like it did on the first-gen RT cards, which is great.

You never mentioned you got a new card. Did you do a full new build after seeing the bottleneck?

I bought a Samsung S23 Ultra. $1300. I was originally planning to get the Pixel 7 Pro $799 but it was out of stock. I liked my Pixel 3a (2019, $400.) and liked my Pixel Watch. I do have a pair of Samsung earbuds I really like and my TV is Samsung too. So I was open to their phones. I am glad I did.

I thought the upgrade from 3a to 7 Pro was big. The gap between the Google 7 Pro and Samsung is even more eyewatering.

It all came down to the rear camera. The Pixel 3a has a single 12.2 MP camera. The 7 Pro has 3 cameras. A 50mp, 48mp and 12mp. The S23 has 4 cameras. A 200mp, a 10 mp, 10 mp, 12mp. I don't know what any of that means but the numbers are bigger. Whoooosh And you do know how much I like pictures and videos.

I finally got a chance to play with the new flip phones. I was charmed by the things. The only thing that worries me is the Hinge wearing out. They feel sturdy but I don't trust that Hinge to last 4 years. I am going to buy one for my mom though.  Product tester.

Also, I have a case for the phone. I wish I was wealthy enough to not care to need one because they managed to get these phones thin and with good finishes.

It was pretty hard finding the driver, by some fluke I found the 'advanced' search page, the standard one didn't have it or a link to the advanced page, do I just install the latest one and hope for the best?
