Do you have any friends with trucks instead of buying a new one?

Buy a wagon for cheap and tow it with your existing car.

I prefer not to rely on borrowing, besides having a truck of my own gives me more experience which leads to me being more comfortable driving larger vehicles. Borrowing from a friend would not help me get comfortable driving larger vehicles. There is always the chance I may have to drive a humvee someday, and I know I would not be comfortable driving one right now. There have been moments where I drove a short distance with a van or truck once or twice and I was constantly nervous driving them due to being inexperience driving a larger vehicle and also a vehicle I do not own.  Having a truck of my own will allow me to get past that discomfort.

I feel like I should point out that you're not necessarily safer in a truck just because it's a truck. Check out the reports ofc.

If you don't need a truck for stuff all the time, you could just get a trailer.

That's fair, but as long as something like that's being pointed out it should probably be honestly contested. Being in a bigger vehicle won't help much if you get crushed by poor engineering.

How about you just don't go hunting? Nothing needs to die for you to have a good time.

There's a big difference between eating animals raised as livestock and going into the woods with "the boys" to kill animals just minding their own business.

And the welfare of the animals is only half of the topic. The fact that somebody looks forward to killing animals for fun is bizarre. It is serial killer mentality.

'Difference,' lmao. Farm animals didn't sign any contract to live their lives in a cage where they can't even turn around. A piglet is probably minding its own business before it gets spiked into a concrete floor. You are complicit in the industrialized torture and death of many animals. You pay other people to put in the elbow grease and run the mechanized decapitators.

At least wild game gets to live about as 'free range' as it gets. If that's still too personal for you, become a vegan.

As I said, complicity. You are involved, whether or not you're the executioner or even see a feather or a shape resembling a bird. You presumably enjoy your mealtimes, no? Grim! Your haughty disdain for hunters and hunting isn't a good look while you're eating every chicken in the room.

There is probably something more respectful for animal life, or at least less impersonal, that you would crawl out of bed to go sitting in a freezing forest at 4 am for your meal. It sucks that you'd demonise it as some undesirable, homoerotic adventure with the boys. You're really on a streak, aren't you. That one actor who got hurt while doing community work, "lol should have stayed home but wanted to go be a country gay."

Even a purely trophy kill probably leads a better life than some cow who ends up in a supermarket dumpster. A bullet to the heart and lungs is a better way to go than being eaten alive by wolves, anyway.

Why don't we ask the animals in line for the throat slicer?

I don't agree with the lifestyle of people living in the countryside. If they want to be country people they should do so in the privacy of their own home.

I only shop at H-Mart these days.
