So what? A lot (of course not all) of overworked, stressful jobs pay alright. Long hours, overtime, on top of off-duty work. Sounds like a really spicy ingredient to lay on top of a job that sends armed people out into a civilian populace.

I don't think people should get paid less because other people working shit jobs get paid less. There are bad nurses too (looking at you, antivaxxers), whatever, it's past time to be paying people what their time is worth because they only have so much of it. Squabbling over 5, 6 figures in a country with multi-millionaires and billionaires, once again smh.

Um except America and the US military were fairly racist in WW2.

The country in general could seriously stand to reevaluate how we process history, as well as concepts and ideas we may not agree with. I hate how people immediately closing up ends meaningful conversations.
