It angers me whenever I hear someone going on gleefully about sending criminals to federal f-me-in-the-a prison, glorifying horrible, harrowing conditions and a prison culture that needs to end along with society's eager acceptance of this nonsense. Let's see someone with that attitude carry it on if they're wrongfully imprisoned.

An American prison (guess which one) was supposedly the inspiration for Rowling's joy-sucking, soul-killing Azkaban prison, described as a fate worse than death.

There are a lot of cases to be made for improving prison conditions in this outrageously wealthy nation of ours, but politicians run the risk of being seen as sOfT oN CrImE.

as you would expect, considering the inconsistencies in policing, court representation and sentencing. young black males practically get hoovered into the prison system for minor offences which their white, and especially white-collar white, denizens can easily skip.

And jews skip investigation for crimes the average white person would be imprisoned for in short order.

34% in a multiracial, pluralistic society with only 13% general population certainly is ‘overwhelming’ and should raise serious questions.

Maybe we can gofundme his new fee for defending police. It was funny to me how he was all like "well, I don't know everything about that case so I can't really say" yet he would default to defending them over defending the public regardless of having "very little information" or "little knowledge of that department's policies."

You'd really think right to arrest would be one of the first things police learn, but probably 99% of people will meekly submit and walk away when charges are dropped so they're used to not caring about what the law is.
