I was just wondering... Would you folks consider the RIB to be a speedboat?
I think i'l consider it to be a floating coffin on wake.
I would consider it to be a floating target.
Did you see my thread about Ribs?
putting stingers and TOWs and .50cals on them....resulting in the birth of the BOATWHORE!

speedboat? are you joking?
I know I think of a speedboat I think of anything but a RIB.
But when does a boat become a speedboat?

Don't forget the smokescreen.Boomerjinks wrote:

No its just a floating turd tbh. Its gun sucks and it can get destroyed by just infantry.Rosse_modest wrote:

We need a boat that has AA on wake, oh, after J-10's grow some hitboxes.............
I think it is a pretty lifelike impression of a RHIB (Rigged Hull Inflatable Boat). They are pretty quick 50+ knots.
Makes you think about the dangers the guys face in the Gulf conducting boardings from them. They are very exposed and often operate out of radio and radar range of the mother ship.
If you add too much more to it, you have a Destroyer, not a boat!! MMmmmm.......Destroyers, now that would be fun.
;-)
Had to fix grammar
