I know one of the graphic designers on it, GTA4 is set in new york present day realeased for playstation 3 next autumn, he plays alpha versions daily, great job!

Why? If you ask me it's never too late, OK I would have preferred it to be reased sooner, but hey, if they need that time to make it an awesome game I'm willing to wait (maybe by that time I will have a better pc to run that game )

maclennan101 I assume the game will be released on PC as well? Probably later, but it will be, right?

Hm, I don't see a CD/DVD logo for PC on that site though, while there are for PS3 and Xbox360.

BTW you mention it is situated in NY, but, that sounds more like "Vice City (Miami) than "San Andreas (state)" to me. I sure hope it will be a huge map, with a lot of variation... Well it's probably way too early to ask those questions yet though...

This game will be a lot bigger than San Andreas - That game was put on dual sided DVD. This game will go on Blu-Ray, expect the 360 version to be watered down to fit on its crappy DVD.

Microsoft says it's HD DVD drive will be out before the PS3 (still smaller than Blu Ray, yes) but they're considering making a blu ray drive for the 360 also, although that will probably be a long ways off...once they determine which format will win over the other.
