There are some things and phrases I like from English English better than American English. In America we mostly refer to post secondary education as "college". I am going to college next year" "What college did you go to?" In the U.K. you guys refer to it as uni or university, right? I prefer that. We only say university if it in the name "I went to Rutgers University" "I go to the University of Virginia". I don't even like saying college. It probably is because I don't feel comfortable talking about college with other people.

College is for "6th form college", between the ages of 16-18.
