Class attendance for various types of self-defense practices, from Krav Maga and MMA to those specifically designed to train women, people of color, and the LGBTQ community have seen interest skyrocket over the last few months.
People are being overly dramatic. There isn't going to be a Trump SS or dictatorship. The guy is going to have trouble bringing the CIA and FBI under his control. He isn't going to be able to subvert democracy itself.

Obama has us on the brink of war with Russia right now. I have a friend deployed in Poland right now that is convinced we're about to be in a shooting match. The part of the Ukraine that was annexed was majority Russian and treated like a second-class province by the government in Kiev. To be fair, Crimea is extremely important for anyone who wants influence in the region. Its been both the only place fit to host Russian Black Sea navy and a port which is naturally very convenient as a way point for China products on the way to EU.Jay wrote:

That said, anybody in his right mind would of course agree that it's not worth starting WW3 over. Still, very important, especially in light of Obama's Transatlantic Trade schtick. Now that that's, basically, failed, we'll see where it goes. It still stands as a major cause for Obama's sanctions against Russia, and will be a strong card to play for Trump.
