NBC's coverage is so bad. I'm watching women's volleyball China vs U.S. The score is 16 -8 when it cuts to commercial. When it comes back it is 16 - 10. >:[
Coverage is bad everywhere. Here unless you're with pay TV, (and fewer people are because it's a rip off,) there's only one channel. And it doesn't play any Olympic stuff, (replays given the time difference,) during prime time viewing hours for some reason. On top of that the various rights deals means there's bugger all you can watch online. I think online news outlets have the right to play only a few seconds of coverage which is enough to show them crossing the finish line and little else.
I'm in Australia at the moment and the coverage is a lot better on free to air TV even if it is Australia-focused. Still you have Channel Seven with three channels that all play the same thing. There was a gold medal track and field event I wanted to see and all three channels were on a swimming race that didn't even have any Australians in it.

I think they're doing this kinda bs on purpose to force people to buy the channel seven $20 olympic app, from all reviews is a steaming pile of ass.
everything i write is a ramble and should not be taken seriously.... seriously. ♥
The events I wanted to see weren't covered, and there was no schedule so I couldn't tell in advance.
BBC coverage of the last games, shown on Foxtel, was excellent.

HBO Go is really good.
its also only $10/month. I recommend.
Pokemon Go is free (I think, I don't actually know).
Everyone I've talked to said Hobogo is steaming pile of glitch. Slow buffering, pixelated, blurry. But it works fine for you guys?
it works great for me running off an ipad, either solo or linked via firestick/chromecast. Never had a problem.
http://www.cnn.com/2016/08/18/sport/us- … index.htmlThe report that four American Olympic swimmers were robbed at gunpoint while partying one night in Rio de Janeiro was a lie to cover up an act of vandalism of a gas station that resulted in the athletes being properly detained by security guards, Brazilian police said Thursday.
"The surveillance tapes show that there was no violence against the athletes at the gas station," said Civil Police chief Fernando Veloso at a press conference on the investigation. "Their claim that they are a victim of an assault or robbery or any kind of violence is not true."
He added the the athletes -- Ryan Lochte, James Feigen, Jack Conger and Gunnar Bentz -- should "provide apologies to the city of Rio."
While all of the athletes may have played a role in the vandalism, the principal troublemaker was 32-year-old Lochte, winner of six Olympic gold medals, who got into an angry, drunken confrontation with security guards," Veloso said.
This scandal has been the most interesting performance Lochte has ever made.
In all fairness, the combined IQ of those 4 guys MAY exceed 70, but I wouldn't say it's much higher than that.
Usain Bolt keeps beating the previously busted dopers, just sayin'
