What kind of bottle do you use to carry water with you on trips? A sport bottle or metal flask?

Still rock the 1L nalgenes. 3 of them in fact. Cycle them in/out of my fridge so I always have a cold one.

Metal or glass (mason jars are nice). Plastic for storage.

I have this Sigg aluminium bottle.
It has the usual opening that can be easily opened without biting off your incisor teeth.
But also has a medium opening to drink big gulps, plus a wide opening, if you want to scoop in some isotonic sports drink powder.
