Just got back from LA and jokes aside I think I'm going to move there
Pretty sure my employer will set me up with an L1-A visa but I'd have to work in NY for a year or so... isn't there some kind of white privilege I have to come steal ur jobs? Will Trump let me in?
Also what're some good US job sites? I'm looking on Monster but they don't list salaries for some reason
out of curiosity, what did you love about southern california?
anyway: dice, indeed, craigslist (honestly). You're best bet is to find somebody down there who could be your boss, or is in a position to be your boss and just ask for an informational interview. They don't have to be hiring, just buy them coffee and ask what they
will look for in an applicant when they do. It takes 10-15 minutes. Do this with as many people as you can. Eventually one will tell you they know somebody who is hiring or one of them will open a position and I can almost guarantee you'll be first ballot.
what I loved:
the weather
cost of living
the place/scenery/activities
the women and their effort to bang ratio (not sure if it's just my accent but whatever it was I'll take it)
most of the food was good too
people are also obviously less reserved over there - sure there's a few lunatics but as long as they don't shoot up the place i don't mind them
I've done some more research and it looks like the easiest path is to work from NY on an L1 visa and then apply for a green card
