Who wants to help me with a timeline format?

Been many a year since I've created a topic on this site, but you guys have traditionally been the most tech savvy I know.

Basically, I'm attempting to make a timeline that follows the same format as the ones Wikipedia uses for band members like this one for AC/DC:

I'm looking for one that will allow me to show individual bars that are able to start and stop along the same line (like Phil Rudd and Chris Slade in the one above). If anyone knows how to make one like this, preferably in Excel, it would be a great help.

do you have access to Microsoft Project? If not you can use something like smartsheet to create a Gantt chart

MacB, I'm pretty straight. Have had homoerotic thoughts before, but never the want or urge to act on them. That doesn't make me bi-curious.

Do they even make project anymore? I'm one of two people in my office that actually knows how to use the software

I think PowerPoint has a built-in timeline wizard. Plug your table in, make some tweaks, done in a minute or two, vs. messing around for a half-an-hour following instructions for a purely Excel version.

they don't. I just looked and there are some online templates available, but they don't do what Eagle wants.
