Tau kicks ass. Me and a friend took our level 1 Tau's with some random 12 Chaos guy to Wave 19
So. I skipped the skins and bought the Tau Commander. Of course he's good at level 1. Jump pack and plasma rifle.
Great fun playing it, but I was deceived. I thought the "dual wield" item would let me combine ranged weapons like you could in Dark Crusade. But no, it just gives you another of whatever you equip.
I was hoping to combine plasma with flamer or something like that.

Also, killing all 3 dopplegangers within 5 seconds of each other? I'm at level 7 and don't really have any wargear to do that, yet, but judging by the videos, I'm about to get some awesome gear that will hopefully make that possible.

I really can't think of a way to make that possible other than a lucky strike with a marker drone skyray bombing and some sort of missile strike. I suppose you could try to get to wave 16 with a couple of weak allies, but sheesh.
