Awesome. Let me just go in time to buy it at $45.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:

I've seen people say it's available for less than that elsewhere anyway, I'll have a look.SuperJail Warden wrote:

Anyone here into Final Fantasy? They have been porting them onto the PC lately and releasing them to Steam. They just announced that they are going to bring FF9 onto the PC from the original PS1 in the year 2000. Never got to play FF9 but I have heard very good things.
I might consider playing it if they include good controller support. I really wanted to play Final Fantasy VIII again on PC but the controls sucked on the new port.
Still never played VII believe it or not, I'm just gonna wait for the remake to come out. I'll be sorely disappointed if Mr. T doesn't voice the black guy

If you can play an RPG with a controller it's not worth playing.
I guess clunky keyboard controls are a necessity then
No, not really. There's any number of decent RPG's built around gamepads.
Such as?
32.99€ over here currently at its cheapest. I got the voucher from there at the same price. Had to redeem the CDkey at geforce website. A bit of a hassle but legit stuff.SuperJail Warden wrote:

KOTOR, hundreds of JRPGs.DrunkFace wrote:

ok, ill give you KotoR. Although it's biggest flaw was the fact it was obviously designed for controllers. Obnoxious way to select characters and queue up attacks not to mention the absolutely dreadful menu and inventory systems. It would have been a far better experience with a proper UI and maybe they could have added some much needed depth to your characters growth.
anyone going to sign up for Origin Access? It intrigues me a little bit but you only get access to 15 full games right now. I've more or less sworn off EA but if I can play some games for $5/month I might be tempted to try it out. I'm sure I'll end up disappointed though
Lol no. Good on EA for trying to innovate though. Steam needs strong competition.
For those like me who haven't been paying attention, John Romero made a new Doom map.
*ruffles your hair*
Ooooh! I'd play that for a day. Altho they're never ever gonna get that 100k they're asking for.

How would this cost 100k euros?
That doesn't include DLCs though, which nowadays make up 50% of a game's content and life cycle, if you consider multiplayer games.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:

To me, this sounds like they have reached the final step in profit maximization.
I only play the Battlefield franchise from EA, where I got cheap pre-order deals for BC2, BF3 and BF4.
Together with the Premium packages of the DLCs, it's still cheaper for over the whole time period I played and still play those games.
Also, I got the less successful BF Hardline ~37% cheaper after a few months during an Origin deal that was stackable with a rebate code from EA Help.
I blame immigrants! Driving down the value of the Euro.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

So, would they like that in pesos? I might have some in a jar somewhere.
We don't tend to get many Mexican immigrants in Europe...unnamednewbie13 wrote:

Not sure why but I've always wondered how many Mexicans ever move to Europe
I felt like I'd ruin the joke if I had to explain it.
