My phone auto corrected it and I don't give a shit enough to fix it whenever it happens.

A friend of mine is a paraplegic from his umpteenth and final motorcycle crash. It fucks up the sex life, being paralysed from above that point.pirana6 wrote:

Physically too big for a smaller bike, and didn't want to outgrow a 500 skills-wise. Starting on a 500 is good advice though, or like a Honda CBR600.pirana6 wrote:
I've owned a 500 and 636. I don't see a reason to own anything higher than a ~500 unless you planned to take it to the track.
My advice would be to start on a 250 or 500 then upgrade once you feel like you're able. It could be 3 months, or it could be 3 years. Thing is, you can always upgrade when you feel ready - no matter how short the time. You can't always downgrade after you're a paraplegic.
My 636 does 50mph in first gear. Not sure I need to find out what WOT does in 6th.
edito: when Jay chimes in, he'll say otherwise. He had some weird reason to never go lower than a 1000cc. Don't remember why. It's here somewhere but I can't find it.
