Sweating and drinking actually help a lot.

That's half the problem they are shit to watch, apart from the 2 or 3 passing moves that might result in a goal. Rest of it is midfielder's laying it off to the defenders and vice-versa. Look at how Chile played tonight much more exciting to watch. Their "tika-taka" bullshit has been figured out now and they didn't have a clue how to do anything else.

True. If we lose and Ghana-Portugal tie, or Portugal wins by 3 or less goals, etc. and we move on. However, I'd prefer to just tie germany and call it over.

Well, even Germany has a very tiny chance of failing, should they lose to the USA.
And since about 40% of goals in football are pure (bad) luck, they probably won't hold back when tied.
