yeah, i'm a firm believer in nationalizing most resource and infrastructure-related economy. I like socialism...I'm probably one of the most "left" leaning people that post on this site. But no matter what system you introduce, you can't remove the one common thread - people are sometimes fucked up. To me it's more of a mentality and understanding of the social contract that needs to change. We need to get more enlightened and disconnected from consumerism. Our priorities are all fucked upShahter wrote:

ah, this... umm... "argument" again. you do understand that people you have access to are not in any way a representative group of, like, anything? also, you do realize that even if they were agreeing with me voicing their opinion among the likes of you would, basically, be committing social suicide, right? and thisJay wrote:

Infrastructure and regulation, paid out of taxes are OK now? You've come a long way Jay.Jay wrote:
I've never been an anarchist that believed in the total removal of government. I've said from the very beginning that government should be small and it's focus narrow so that it can perform the tasks it should perform at least somewhat decently. It's roles should primarily be limited to those of justice and defense. Other things, like building infrastructure are certainly made easier when paid for by taxes rather than voluntary subscription. I simply despise everything beyond this. Despotism and central planning fails in every regard.Dilbert_X wrote:

but at least you're acknowledging that regulation isn't inherently bad. You've come a long way, Jay. But again, govt isn't the problem, its that your system of govt sucks ass.

only 7 mattered though. and like really only like 5
But really none
the crusades into the middle east were a good thing. that isn't popular to say though because the leaders of modern multicultural states have turned their backs on their nation's heritage and history in order to promote a cult of victimhood among non-western people.
