It kinda has the problem of Aliens CM where the AI will completely ignore NPC's it should be clawing and just run straight for you instead. They did polish this game up a little bit, but it's all on the surface. The only advantages I see is ease of installation and the wonderful Steam Workshop, for which I've forgiven Valve of many sins.

I hate to sound cheap but this was a $10 game. For what they gave us it wasn't worth $20. Just a thought from a cheapskate.

I tend to judge what I've spent on games by how long I play them and if they were enjoyable.

Battlefield 2 - $50 - 799 hours played - $0.06/hr - fun - success
Space Marine CE - $70 - 938 hours played (o.O) - $0.08/hr - fun - success
Far Cry 3 - $50 - 39 hours played - $1.28/hr - fun - success

However, I have too many fails in cheap games I've bought but never touched because I'd been too busy playing BF2 or Space Marine. If you're only going to play about two hours of AoE2 HD, I'd say your money was wasted.

/Your thoughts, insights, and musings on this matter intrigue me
