bad galaxy pilot: fastest way to kill 12 people
Yeah I agree, completely overwhelming. There is clamoring for more than just just dropping someone behind lines after a brief pep talk.unnamednewbie13 wrote:
The learning curve is pretty much a vertical wall. It's put off a lot of people I've recommended this game to, and still annoys me at times.
I wish more people here could get through it and get into it. The game excites me like BF2 excited me when it came out.
Some sort of offline tutorial would help more people get off the ground.
Kinda funny how they didn't bring back sanctuaries from PS1 because newcomers got lost in them, yet, people still get lost anyway.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

Biggest downside is that you character for now is bolted to a server ... makes it hard for international play unless everyone planned where to put their accounts.
Surprised not many here are playing, its pretty much everything BF should have became.

I played that game so much that I'm burnt out on it. I will definitely be back in the future though
And snippers is right, this is exactly where bf should have gone

I'm not. The learning curve is still brick wall for a lot of people.jsnipy wrote:

I'm sorry to have to say this newbie , but go play bf3 / cod learning curve is what games should be all about, the more work it takes to achieve something , the greater the reward is achieving it !unnamednewbie13 wrote:

yeah but learning curves make games more fun. difficulty and complexity are conducive to satisfaction/reward pathways.RTHKI wrote:

if you're gonna do a one-line blunt retort game, at least make sense, and not come across like a fucking retard
(which you more than often do)

Except Battlefield is like Asteroids compared to this. I've played early battlefield games and PlanetSide 2's interface was still brick wall for me. Didn't help that I wasn't able to assign certain keys because they were perma-assigned to other stuff.jsnipy wrote:

Back when I was still bothering to figure it out:
1. Where the fuck do I go?
2. Where the fuck are people to shoot?
3. How the fuck do I find my friends?
4. What the hell is going on?
5. Why are there 100 people in the spawn room?
6. How the hell does anything work?
Maybe the implemented tutorials will help others.
i don't know, I'm not exceptionally smart and in a few hours hours of play had those questions answered. Partial because of ...

Seriously. I get what you are saying but once you get it ... its fucking
One bitch I would have in the learning process that is not apparent is how your character is on "a" server. Thus my jsnipy999 account when I followed the group I played BF3 with there just for them to go back to playing bf3 a week later
Anyway you should come join us. I play with a group now who pretty much has at least a squad going 24 hours a day in some form or another.
We can talk and keep each other company, sharing intimate moments and tactics.
