Do you guys have and recommendations for good product review and comparison sites? Trying to get back into it and would like a good reference site.
Went out the the eagle viewing area in Brackendale today to test out the new camera. I have a bit of practicing to do. And some bigger lenses to buy, the 75-300 wasn't long enough. There weren't to many eagles left around and the lighting wasn't great. To bad, was out a couple of weeks ago and saw at least 30 that were bigger than these ones and it was a blue bird day.

mebbe try a tele extender for cheaper solution? if you've got the f2.8.
my telezoom is not a 2.8 so i am hesitant to try the extender myself(you lose a stop and perhaps auto focus dependent on the lens but can get up to 2x the reach)

I think I may have done something utterly dumb. I asked for funnies from a friend who is shooting gigs what it takes and how can one get to shoot gigs. Told me to contact a chief editor for some media and I did. So it looks like now I might be going to gigs and shoot good music that I like Let's see how this turns out. Might be one gig and "thanks but no thanks" or "please feel free to continue". They're mainly looking for a person who can write an article on the gigs too, but I don't know how to be analytical on music!? I just enjoy it and live in the moment when it comes to music It's either yay, nay or meh ok

Thanks bud! Those Phottix remotes were $15 + shipping on ebay. Basically identical version from Chinaman was $5.14 WITH shipping. And what's best, the local ripoff stores sell them for over $30
