And the golden globe goes to...
I havent read them, but my roommate said it was very different in the comics. So, in this case, its entirely the writers.Kampframmer wrote:
But there's no arguing over this, characters in shows do dumb things (blame the writers, or in this case, the comic) and at least we got rid of Lori.
Pretty sure Rick looked at him and figured out that Carl shot his mother. That is why he said No no NO no NO NO. I thought that was a pretty realistic reaction. It wasnt one of those classic TV reactions.Kampframmer wrote:
Yes, Rick's crying was very weird. The way he bent over looking at carl as if he wanted to ask: 'Did you know about this?' and then just yelling: 'No, no, NO, no, NO NO'. It was odd and it killed some of the emotional immersion.

Well it didn't seem like you understood it from your last post, bunny-hat wearing, recorder-playing man. I was just trying to help you out, sherlock.Kampframmer wrote:

It was different, it didn't come across as clichéd drama, but was it better? Well, I've never seen a grown man break down after he realized his son shot his wife after giving birth to a baby in a zombie apocalypse. However, I do know that it wasn't exactly the way most men would break down and cry. He went for a different approach than the usual sob, and that is to be respected, but it wasn't a brilliant performance and made for quite an awkward scene.
There was this quiet moment, a low sobbing from Maggie, Rick looks like he's breaking down mentally, but suddenly he bursts out into 'No's' and crying in all that silence. It broke the moment a little imo.
In her defense, it's a good indication of whether a guy might or might not be crazy. Andrea's attracted to him? Good chance. Andrea's fucking him? Dude's off his rocker.ROGUEDD wrote:
