That could be the problem.

Otherwise - Safe mode, Malwarebytes, repeatedly.
This is happening to me too on my home pc. I ran malwarebytes, followed all the instruction, still no fix. Googling told me to remove add ons/plug ins that aren't there in the first place. I guess ill delete firefox and reinstall?

Chrome is the answer. + adblocker

I am always shocked at the amount of ads other people have to look at when I use other computers

I have ad blocker and it doesn't stop it. Chrome is a shitty alternative. I would be using ie if stupid battlelog would work with it.

Yeah, I've switched to Chrome too several months ago.
It can store all your settings, passwords and bookmarks on the cloud and automatically syncs them everywhere.

IIRC, Firefox has such a sync feature too, but I have never tested it.

So what we get buzzed
So what we don't smoke weed
We're just being responsible
And do care who sees
So what we go out once a month
That's how it's supposed to be
We are middle aged, calmed down, and burdened by raising a family and staying on top of our mortgage

I have no need to sync settings/passwords/bookmarks on the cloud.

I haven't watched this in years. Too bad Karen Hines took the character in a shit direction soon after this.

after you've done the malwarebytes
uninstall firefox, delete the firefox files and folders.
You can backup your password files by copying them from the directory. I wouldn't backup anything else though.

Your passwords are stored in two different files, both of which are required:

key3.db - This file stores your key database for your passwords. To transfer saved passwords, you must copy this file along with the following file.
    signons.sqlite - Saved passwords.
thanks, malwarebytes didnn't help, reinstalling firefox did.
No, I don't need an attitude adjustment. You just need to fuck off.
