Alas I will be hearing more of this campaign next year it seems. This despite him spending an afternoon in Cuba Mall in Wellington approaching people to read from a book he wrote and published of slightly sexually suggestive sonnets about Saddlebacks. I shit you not. He did get an honourable mention for his passion but finished outside the top ten.
To be honest I think his campaign for Parliament was more measured despite his advocacy for a 'Zeppelin Skyway' bypass of the electorate he was running for.
I have odd friends.
The victor was the Karearea, or New Zealand Falcon, which features on the back of a NZ $20 note.
