Just finished the video I've been wanting to make since I got my Go Pro camera. Features clips from most of my flights since January with about 15 different camera angles and 5 different types of aircraft with shots at night, in IMC (basically in clouds), and all over the East coast. This'll probly be the last one I post here unless you guys want more, but I'm quite proud of this one

Nice video, didn't have sound on this PC, did I miss much?
Anyway, I admire your freedom up there, I took a flight in one of those planes once, pilot gave me control for miles and miles, best experience ever besides skydiving
I remember the pilot showing of some G's by putting a glove on the dash and making it float, my friends in the back were shitting their pants and I was like a kid in a candy vault.
Did you ever try putting the cam on the belly pointing down so it films nothing but maps down below?

You fly helicopters?
The only time I put it underneath was facing forward and it got pelted with little bits of dirt and stuff haha. I would like to try that idea of your with it facing down, I just hafta figure out how to protect it a little better.Chou wrote:

Not primarily. They cost double what the fixed wing aircraft cost to rent, so I only do it occasionally. But yeah, I've got a few hours in them, its very funPrivateVendetta wrote:

Great video.
I'd definitely be interested in seeing more, if you make them.

Excellent, I'm going to start flying tailwheel aircraft in a couple weeks and am going to Alaska in August to fly float planes. Hopefully my next video will be awesome
Float planes, awesome.

So i contacted go pro and got another camera half off. First flight with it, the suction cup comes off and I literally watched my camera plummet 7500' into the ocean. Guess im done with that for good lol
