It's like they can't help themselves from porting CoD garbage.

- New expansions announced CQC heavy it seems!
Metro is the most played map, asking them not to make more maps like it is pretty much asking them to make less money.
I guess that makes it ok.
at least there is some vertical play for a change
is that the british challenger in the second cover?
Don't think so. (For Chally that is)
Interesting artwork for End Game, very SF-ish.

Found the tank.
It's a Russian Sprut-SD self-propelled gun, so yep, mobile arty

This game isn't suited for close quarters battle. Netcode is too shitty. But of course, they've got to try to convert more CoD kiddies over. Speaking of which, adding new weapons seems cool, but what's the point? The weapons have nearly the same statistics within each class and only have the most subtle of differences. At least in CoD, the guns' personalities stood out more and weren't as generic as the BF3 weapons.
Sacrifice game quality for more monies? Sounds like EA to me.Superior Mind wrote:

I'm looking forward to armored one but I might pick up the CQC for the weapons. I don't play a lot of armor but I love maps which have a mix of everything. It just isn't battlefield without armor.
Are those bombs on that jet?
Look like drop tanks.

Yeah that was a good mod as well. But even vanilla 1942 had artillery someone would have to spot out.RTHKI wrote:

too bad the mod is dead and crashes a lot now for me
They do, but no other jets in-game have them, do they? Doesn't seem to make sense that new jets would...[/wishfulthinking]M.O.A.B wrote:

Since when does close quarters have to mean indoors? Christ these people are fucking lazy.
No kidding. It's strange, but I could swear I get into CQB all the time on the B2K maps...which are currently the biggest maps in BF3.Spearhead wrote:

I guess people don't want to have to run for 30 seconds to get into a fight.

Grand Bazaar would be a lot more fun if the flags were placed on the outer edges so that people have to fight through the urban center to get to the other side.
Oman should be like that too but instead the flags are in the urban area and people have to expose themselves to open ground to get to the well-defended urban area.

New guns in trailer:
ACR- 5.56 American AR
MTAR- 5.56 Israeli Carbine
SCAR-L: 5.56 version of SCAR-H
SPAS-12: 12g Italian semi-auto shotgun
LSAT: Law School Admission Test
L86A1: LMG version of L85
AUG: 5.56 Australian AR
"Law School Admission Test"?
Really?
It's most likely a gun (AR or LMG) from this weapons program:

Also, the AUG (Armee Universal Gewehr) is an Austrian assault rifle.
(It's used by the Australian army, built under license as the F88 there.)
