i'd honestly just skip it, read the plot on wikipedia and go right to 2.

2 is great. Brotherhood is even better. Revelations is.. not bad, but nothing to cry home about

I prefer to play these games on the 360 itself anyway ever since Ubisoft got lazy on ACII and didn't do DirectX 10 support on it like they did with the first game. I don't expect any different with the third one. Cheap backwards assholes

I really hope they don't just stick to one city though. A lot of potential for playable areas like Philly, NYC (even though NYC was basically only built up where City Hall currently is today and below at the time), Boston, Williamsburg, and even... Albany!
