Anyone else pretty sure that this will just be a movie where the hype is the only thing this movie will ride on? Iron Man and Hulk were pretty well done, I think (haven't seen Thor) and Captain America looks excellent... but still... very afraid this will bite the big one.

its amazing what the movies have done for the popularity for Ironman
people that treated him as a B-list character now see him as the A-list awesome as he should be

I hope that they keep the WW2 Captain America costume. It looks like a superhero costume but still very realistic as if it could actually exist.
I just hope that none of the movies get into that demon and supernatural bullshit that the comics went to. Marvel comics are great but when they all devolve into that crap, it's hard to take them seriously.

I really like the WWII outfit he wore in the movie, it seemed to really work for that era and looked like it would/could be something that was designed back in that day

It's not going to be some deep, intellectual thriller. It's a superhero/action movie, and it does that very well.
