Dunno. Had duk0r block off some services that may have been hurting things, but not sure yet if that was the root slow-down cause.
Speaking of blocked off things...why are banned members profiles locked?

Rebooting seems to have fixed whatever was hanging (I assume it was a reboot that reset 'live')

yeah, but if you do it and don't give them a choice between posting on bf2s or trackrv2.0 then they will be forced to switch over. that or the forums end up dieing off.
