Probably why I didn't buy BF3, cause it's shit, and I'm not going to play something that is shit just because they can't be bothered making it not shit.

Maybe if no one bought BF3 (cause it's shit) EA/DICE would have gone... hmmm wtf, maybe we'll make something not shit so people will actually buy it next time. But as it is, because they can make mega sales off piss poor games nothing will change.
