Looks like EA have some interesting data fields attached to player accounts. You can see it if you open the gp.info file in the BF2 root folder.
Most of mine seem to be blank, but perhaps that might not be true for everyone. Yes, it's probably they are just collecting this information to sell more games, but the truth is more likely that they are going to use this information to blackmail, torture or kill you and your family if you say anything bad about the next patch. That's right, it's a secret gestapo database containing information about your marital status, number of children, income, interests and more. So next time you want to complain about connection drops, tag bugs or anything else, remember: They know where you live and will kill your children without remorse.
Anyway, I'm not serious about EA thought police thing, it's all pretty standard market research stuff, but just wondered if anyone has any actual data in their gp.info, or if it is always blank.
