Just put ICS on my phone! Works really well.
nice! im delaying putting it on mine until all the bugs are fixed from the ICS releases. which phone is that?
the ROM im on currently uses a lot of 4.0 code (hardware acceleration, etc) so i already have a lot of the benefits

I'm on a Samsung galaxy s. I'm on one cosmics ROM. Overall it's pretty good not had many problems. One problem is the phone not going to sleep so battery drain is high due to the phone not entering sleep at all. I'll have to figure out how to fix that. Other people have got pretty good battery life out of it so I must have a rogue app.
Anyone know where I can get ICS for droid X2? can't find it on google.
check xda
I think the volume thing works with any app now, as it controls "media volume" while anything is playing (even with a locked screen).west-phoenix-az wrote:
I use the music player ("Music") that came on my phone and I can change the volume with the volume buttons and change the track on the screen, while its still locked. I found that other players don't allow me to change the track on the screen without unlocking it so I stuck with the stock player.
Xbone Stormsurgezz
Go to xda and find the forum with your phone then click Android development for it. Have a good read on the verdict before you stick it on though!
I downloaded the new Eclipse Rom I love it except for the fact that my GPS won't connect. It gets within 60m but when i try to use it for turn by turn it says it's searching for signal and it will not find it.
i have the droid 2/milestone 2
gta3 had it listed as a recommended phone to run but now i've bought the game it's slow as fuck, it's pretty much unplayable.
so yeah, how do i make my phone run gta3 faster

Can't really be arsed to search through the thread, but what was the app that allowed you to access your phone remotely from your desktop and also write SMS's among other activities? Anyone remember?
Nevermind, found this one

My current phone setup. I like it. Running MIUI (for the nice menus) and GO Launcher EX (for the best possible homescreens) on the HTC Desire. I've been looking into Android 4.0 but not downloaded any Roms yet. Going to wait a while for Cyanogenmod 9 or something. Hmm looking at xda it looks like there's a decent ICS build already: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthr … t=1403113. I'm still going to wait though (for better app compatability).
That looks very good. Shame I don't have that kind of wifi setup at my flat, but it'll work at home.CapnNismo wrote:

Yoda, afraid your picture hotlink is broken. https://dl-web.dropbox.com/get/Public/2 … w=e29ec0cb a link like that doesn't work...
Sorry, took me ages to figure out how to use the dropbox website (away from my PC).
Someone please explain to me why I need to have a 8 to 10 digital pin for a cell phone account. I already have to enter a username, password, and verify my SSN to change shit on my account.
I qualify for a free mini cell phone tower but when I went to set it up through a rep they asked me my PIN. I don't remember it... Why can't they just ask for my SSN or something else to verify like everyone else. Fucking Sprint............................

Well, there's Mother's maiden name, your favorite high school teacher/car/color, first pet's name, etc.Naturn wrote:

Nice and clean looking home screen there Yoda. I don't really have any problems with incompatible apps at the moment pretty much all of them run pretty well. Developers are moving fast on releasing updated ROM's so it's probably worth waiting until they pump out a stable release for your handset.
The question they had was. "What street did you grow up on." I answered it and they said it wasn't correct. I think I would know where I grew up....Ilocano wrote:

It has to match exactly how you entered it when initially asked about adding a security question/answer. I almost always use some stupid answer to those security questions.Naturn wrote:
