The UEFA Euro League, Thursday night football thing will almost overshadow the Champions League now this season. Im gutted Tottenham have gone out though. All that money spent by Man City, what a waste, in regards to European football. I dont think you can say the same about United can you? They seem to be acting like they are skint. Maybe Im wrong, I just cant remember the last big purchase they made in either money or name.
It's been that way for most clubs IMO. Apart from Torres, and City, there hasn't been a huge amount spent on established players. Liverpool spent a load last year, but that was from the Torres money, and neither of them were big names before they came to Liverpool, Carrol still isn't.

i am pretty concerned about is at the moment. 6-1 at Old Trafford to our city rivals, knocked out by a championship side in the league cup, now not out of the CL group. not to mention our boring performances lately
i don't think there should be any overreaction or signing just for the sake of signing, but i'd like to see something change. it seems like he's building another team like he has done over the years so hitting terrible form isn't the end of the world, but it is embarrassing. i just hope it doesn't continue
