Changed my resolution to 1280x800 and it stopped. Yay

Ok found the problem and fixed it. It was my xbox controller. Didn't think since the light isn't on and the controls ingame dont say anything that would be affect it. So check your game pads joysticks and other devices!
Yeah...don't have any of those. It was the first thing I checked, since that's what's been causing problems per the BF3 forums. Even uninstalled my joystick drivers to make sure.iceman785 wrote:

Oh... Well that fixed it for me :S. Try repairing or reinstalling?
I use a non usb keyboard - its an old Microsoft internet keyboard. Its about 10-12 years old and still works great.

Yeah, unfortunately I reinstalled via Origin and now the game doesn't load as quickly as the disc install, but oh well.
Looks like I may have to reinstall Origin. The BF3 reinstall isn't taking, and I can't uninstall it. All it lets me do is try to install it over and over again. Can't repair it or download a new copy.

If anyone has issues with the patch not installing, DONT repair the game, this will download all 11gb + 4GB again, just end the origin process, and restart.
Finally figured out the controllability issue I was having: mouse had gone tits up.
